Three students from RIT/NTID's Computer Aided Drafting Technology program have produced a 3D model of Sebastian and Lenore Rosica Hall. The students received the designs from HBT Architects, and along with this animated video of the site, have experimented with different methods to create the 3D model. They used a combination of wood, plastic and Plexiglas to create a detailed model at 1" = 10'. The model also includes details of site plan.
The students also researched some of the sustainability issues related to the project. Rosica Hall has applied for Gold Level LEED Certification with the US Green Building Council. The students observed that process and how the LEED points were earned.
