STEVE: Congratulations on being selected as a delegate! Your duties as an official or alternate delegate to the biennial NAD Conference are to do the following:
1. Participate in pre-conference delegate orientation online which will take place in May and June, 2014;
2. Participate in the general forum to discuss and consider official conference priorities from the individual members which are screened by the steering committee; and
3. Vote on the top five priorities at the general forum.
We also expect you to participate in the Council of Representatives (COR) business meetings which includes voting for the top five priorities and new bylaw amendments. This will take place after the closing of the conference. Also, your vote helps elect the next NAD President and Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and regional representatives.
So let's get ready to roll up our sleeves and get to work! Thank you.
