HOWARD: Guess what, we now have an Annual Report ready for your viewing on our website! The report explains all the different programs the NAD has — from Youth programs such as Youth Leadership Camp (YLC), Junior NAD National conference; Education Advocacy that makes sure schools for the deaf are safe and that deaf and hard of hearing children have quality education; Litigation where we sue different organizations that are not accessible like Netflix or court rooms, hospitals that provide VRI instead; and also Policy and Legislation where we work with FCC for telecommunication access, Department of Labor to make sure jobs are secured, Department of Justice to ensure policies are being followed; and many more that the NAD is actively working on. This is why we need your support! The Annual Report is from April 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014 because that is our fiscal year. For things that have happened after March 31, 2014 will appear in our next report which you will see in the same place online. So go ahead and review the report and get a better understanding of what the NAD does — with your support. Now, during this wonderful holiday season, we will have a better 2015 with your support!
