The National Association of the Deaf (NAD) is looking for YOU to present at the #NAD2014 Conference in Atlanta, Georgia! Watch the video to learn more.

JENNY: Hi! The National Association of the Deaf (NAD) is looking for who are experts in different fields to come present at the 2014 NAD Conference. Presenters can train, share, and inspire our community members of various topics to improve the deaf and hard of hearing community moving forward. At the Conference, there are seven different presentation topics available.

First topic is Advancing ASL: Linguistics and Aesthetics.

Second, Bilingualism and Education.

Third, Civil Rights and Legal Advocacy.

Fourth, Employment and Entrepreneurship.

Fifth, Inclusion and Intersectionality.

Sixth, State and Local Level Advocacy related to legislative or education.

Seventh, Technology — Accessibility and Usability.

Of course, we also accept proposals in another topic that is not listed. So if you know someone who is an expert in one of these topics, encourage them to apply and present at our Conference! The deadline to apply is January 31, 2014 [White text appears on screen "January 31"]. After submitting, the Conference Committee will review all proposals. If selected, the presenter will get $100 off their registration!
