STEVE: Welcome from Chicago! We're here for our Board meeting. It's been great meeting people and visiting different places and schools. We're learning new things and its been a great experience so far!
MICHELLE: I'd like to share some updates from Region I. Before I go on, you support Region I right? You're from the northeast right? Great, I'll go over a few things. I was invited to attend a Jr. NAD northeast regional conference in Rhode Island. Different schools and programs in the area participated. We talked about leadership and their future. That weekend was great for Jr. NAD members to learn how to be a leader. I was very delighted to attend and am very excited about the possibilities of our future! Their leadership is already amazing. I'm also very excited about different states doing different things related to legislative action. We always want to keep you updated and aware of our support. Remember, we can provide you resources and information — that's what we're here for! We want the state associations to thrive; with their action, this will surely improve the lives for deaf and hard of hearing people in the northeast. Thank you very much!
STEVE: Region I is awesome!
