Shows: Beyond Words: Dance Plus Asl

A full-length documentary chronicling the creation of a modern dance based on Debbie Rennie's ASL poem "Black Hole: Color ASL" about the oppression of American Sign Language. The dance was performed at the 2006 Deaf Studies Today! conference at Utah Valley University. The documentary includes exclusive interviews with the key persons involved as well as the complete performance at Deaf Studies Today! with audience reaction.
